MAALAI NERATHU MAZAITHULI

Vijay is all set to rock the box office in 2012 with Nanban releasing in Pongal. He has also started the photo shoot for the AR Murugados directed ‘Maalai Nerathu Mazaithuli’. The film is expected to be full of action with a twist of love. The movie will be Vijay’s 54 th movie and the first with ARM. The movie is supposed to start this November and expected to be complete by March 2012. Harris will compose the music while the rest of the crew has not been decided. The movie’s offical phot shoot and the advertisement is expect later this month.

‘Nanban’ has also been completed and is in its post production stages with the music expected to release early December. The movie was in the news recently with Illeana causing some trouble since she failed to adjust with the cast and crew in the shooting spots during the song sequence of the ‘Zoobie Doobie’ starring Vijay and herself. Hence Farah decided to do most of the song without her casting only Vijay. Hope ‘All is well’ in the team.

Apart from these two movies, Vijay is also expected to start the Gautham Menon’s ‘Yohan’ later in 2012.

Mayakkam Enna Latest News

Mayakkam Enna initially slated for the Diwali release has been pushed two weeks back due to the non availability of theatres due to 7am Arivu and Velayutham. It is surprising that Ra one managed to grab theatres while Mayakkam Enna did not. The movie is planned to release on November 18. The movie’s songs which are a run away hit has transformed Dhanush into a lyricist  as well. Selva has told that the movie will screen two versions of the ‘Kadhal Yen Kadhal’ song. One version will be available from the day one while the other will be added after a week of the release.

We also hear that Dhanush is in Mumbai to kick start his Directorial dreams in Bollywood. The actor is fast completing his movie ‘3’ and is ready for his directorial Debut.

Diwali Box office Collections

This Diwali has been the same for Kollywood with two heavyweights fighting it out for the supremacy. Surya’s 7am Arivu versus Vijay’s Velayutham. 7am Arivu made at a budget of around 80 crores has been screened around at 1000plus theatres worldwide, has managed to collect around 37 crores the first week(41 crores so far). With critics citing the movie’s excessive advertising as the main reason for the movie’s underperformance.

On the other hand, Vijay’s commercial comeback.made at around 45crores and screened around in 650 theatres has managed to get 31 crores in the first week of Diwali(around 52 crores so far) .With words spreading about the movie, the movie is sure to surpass 7am arivu in the box office in the days to come as theatres are planning to reduce 7am Arivu’s screening numbers.

Ra one made at an whooping 150 crores has released worldwide in a grand manner. Though the critics has degraded the movie, it has managed to collect over 190 crores world wide and also the telecast rights for about 40 crores and the merchandise collection has made sure that Shahrukh stays the “Badshah of Bollywood”.

DIWALI RELEASES 2011

Diwali is the best time for the producers to rake in the profits making full use of the festive season. This has been the tradition in the Indian film industry to release the movie and get full benefit of the festive season. For the past few years Kollywood has been finding this formula a huge hit. Take for the instance ‘Chandramuki’ which released during this festive season and hit the Jackpot. Last year the competition was a little weak with only Dhanush’s Uthamaputiran being the big budget movie. But it was ‘Myna’ that hit the right chords to become the hit of the year. The other movies that were released where ‘Va Quarter cutting’ and ‘SingamPuli’.

But this time it’s a different ball game with three most expected movies gearing for the battle. Its Vijay’s ‘Velayudham’ versus Suriya’s ‘7am Arivu’ versus Dhanush’s ‘Mayakam Yenna’.

Velayutham is full family entertainer with Vijay,Genelia ,Hanshika,Saranya and Santhanam in the lead directed by M.Raja. While A.R.Murugados pairs with Suriya after Ghajini for this epical movie with Sruthi Hasan in the female lead. Dhanush and his brother Selva are not far behind with ‘Mayakam Yenaa’. Apart from this we also have Ra.One both in Tamil and Hindi with the Superstar playing a cameo in the movie. Osthi initiall slated for the festive release has been pushed back since STR is not fully ready to shoot his Shirtless climax.

All ther four movies have been promoted quite aggressively and their songs are already slugging it out in the stores. Probably a must watch this festive season.

7am Arivu News

The much anticipated movie this diwali received the ‘U’ Certificate from the censor board and is all et to entertain you this Diwali. The movie directed by A.R.Murugados with Suriya and Sruthi Hasan is creating huge draw with its promotions and it songs are a hit. The movie is said to be oriented on ‘BodhiDharama’ the art of combat created by the 6th century Pallava Prince who made it all the way from TamilNadu, India to China and immortalized the art of combat and the shaolin concepts. Sruthi Hasan plays the scientist who tries to revive the prince from the DNA of various artists. The movie also has Johnny Tri Nguyen, who plays the masked Spiderman as the villain. The movie is posted as a Sci-fi thriller. Suriya plays the role of the Pallava prince and a circus Trapeze  artist. The movie also launches Sruthi Hassan as a Tamil artist, who already has starred in Telugu and Hindi. The movie is produced by Udhayanidhi Stalin’s Red Giant Movies who is a good friend of Suriya.

Vijay on a Roll !!

Velayutham has been awarded the ‘U’ certificate by the censor officials and is gearing up for it Diwali release. The movie is the remake of the Telugu hit ‘Azad’, to which director Raja has made several changes. The movie stars Vijay, Genelia, Hansika, Saranya Mohan and Santhanam. The film is posted to be a full family entertainer. Vijay also is gearing up for the release of ‘Nanban’ which is in its final stages of post production. The movie directed by Shankar is the remake of the Hindi blockbuster ‘3 idiots’. The movie has Srikanth, Jiiva , Satyaraj and Illeana in the lead.

  Vijay also has a hand full of movies waiting in the queue with the like of Gautham’s ‘Yohan’ , a doubtful movie with Maniratham ‘ Ponnniyin Selvan’ and another with A..R.Murugadoss. With the actor coming back after a recent holiday in Dubai, the good times are back !!!!

Vijay has been in the news this time for all the good things. Right after his latest movie has hit the right patch, news is out that Shankar has got him back in the crew for 'Nanban' and the shoot has started. Other news that Maniratham has also approached him for his next movie which could also feature Vishal and Vikram. Vijay has been constantly receiving letters from his fans.
    His fan club from Australia has written a letter to him stating that he mut surely take up the role in the movie 'Nanban' and the release factors in Australia will be entirely funded by them. They also asked Vijay to release the trailler soon. They have been recently doing all the charity work in the name of their idol and hence would like him to continue his good work.
  Other fans from all over the country have also praised him for his down to earth role in Kavalan and asked him to continue his clever work. Hope he continues his decent works and all the best for his upcoming movies.

Ags production house has been one of the upcoming successful production houses in 2010 in Tamil cinema. They came into the cinema industry silently and now have formed a very strong base under them. They also have a multiplex complex with nearly 7 screens. The movie house run by the Kalpathi's helps very good and different movies reach the people through very good advertisement and exposure. They entered the industry with movies like 'Thirutupaiyale' and Santosh Subramanium and have tasted success with their latest ventures like 'Madrasapatinam' and ' Irumbukottai Murattu Singam'. SasiKumar's Next film

 SasiKumar after his success with Eesan is already to start his next venture and yes !, its not without his best friend Samudrakani. The roles are reversed again with SasiKumar playing the lead role and Samudrakani behind the camera. The movie is titled "Poorali' (Warrior) and the movie is themed like Nadodigal with Sasi fighting for a good cause. The duo are supposed to start the movie early next year in January.

Ajith Not Happy with his Fans

Ajith is one of the Heros in Tamil Film industry who has always wanted his fans to live happily and prosperously. He has issued a message for his fans stating that they concentrate on their family and work. He has asked them not to include his names for their family functions and not to have his photos on banners for their family function. He has asked them not to come to his shooting spots and trouble him for photo shoots. He also stated that he did not want to use his fans for wrong deeds. He also warned  that if they continue this, their clubs could be banned.

Is RJ Shiva Marrying

RJ and actor Shiva was in news recently with the gossips spreading fast that he is going to marry his childhood friend Priya. Shiva who shot to fame after the movie Chennai 28 and Tamizh Padam got huge response with the audience. The actor also met some success with Va movie. The actor rejected all the gossips that he is going to get married. He stated that he will tell the media if he thinks of any such ideas. HE is currently busy with Gautham Menon's production venture and Pathinaru (whose audio was launched recently). He is the one and only action hero in the history of cinema to be in the numero uno position ever since he got that position. He came into limelight with Aboorva Ragangal and ever since there has been no looking back for this star who later rose to the mighty position in Tamil Cinema  with just his charisma and Style. The style Samrat has been basking in success for nearly all his movies but he has always remained on ground to let others around him rie along with him.
     Rajini alias Shivaji Rao was born in Karnataka and lived a nomadic life for his living. His mother died when he was 5 and Rajini had to struggle for his daily bread. But once he got into the position of a conductor, he had chances to get into the film industry. He joined the film institute and had the entry into films with his Guru K. Balachander giving him a small role. His Guru knew that this guy would rise to great heights. But with numerous movies after his debut, Rajini was happy to see himself settled. But the change happened after 1985, with movies like Basha, Annamalai, Billa, Moondru Mugam, Padayappa, and many that saw him rise to the positin of the SUPER STAR. The actor still is a very humble and simple man with all memories of his past unchanged.
     The actor is celebrating his 60th birthday today and wants to be with his family like he did all these 18 years. The actor now has both his daughters married and has grandsons to play with. But on screen he plays with Heroines as young as his daughters and fights villains who are nearly half his age. But the super star manages to defeat all them and regain his supremacy every time he comes on the screen. This is what all his fans are waiting to see every year. Vandan Vendran with Red Gaints

Vandan Vendran is rapidly taking shape with Jiiva in the lead. The Latest we hear from the cineam industry is that Red Gaint Movies are very eager to acquire the distribution rights of the movie, The movie has Jiiva and Tapasee in the lead with R. Kannan directing the movie and produced by Sreenivasan. The movie crew is currently being shot in the borders of Mysore and then the crew have decided to move to Mumbai for some important scenes. The movie is said to be a racy thriller and is all set to release in January 2011.
     Red giants have been one of the successful distribution houses in Tamil cinema with their family friends Sun Pictures and Cloudnine movies joining them. Red Giants have also acquired the rights to Manmadhan Ambu, releasing in december and also 7 am Arivu. Lets hope to see more good movies from the distribution house.

Kavalan Release date

Kavalan is the movie many people are hoping to turn their careers back to success again. The movie was completed many weeks back and was to be released in December first week. But the legal battle with the distributors abroad has delayed it. The audio of the movie was recently released and it has been received with good response. Now the producers have decided to release the movie on Christmas eve. But with Kamal's Manmadhan Ambu waiting for release, the producer are in a dilema to postpone the release to Pongal. Vijay's fans are also hoping to see the movie only for Pongal. With Velayudham aslo nearing completion, its release has also been delayed to match the release of Kavalan. Vijay has also backed out from Shankar's Nanban due to tight schedulde. Lets hope the movies run to full houses and also bring success and fame to both the actor and the crew.

Nanban Latest news

Everytime Shankar does something, he is always in news. But till recently he was in news for only nice things. But recently things have changed and bad times are coming his way.The story line of  Endhiran has made two authors to claim that they are the owners of the story. Though the case for that film is in proceeding, the next film of the director has come under serious trouble. The heros of both the versions of the movie have pulled out due to tight scheduldes. The movie 'Nanban' has been facing lots of trouble since it started, with numerous cast opting out of the movie due to personal reasons, the latest is Vijay and Mahesh Babu both have opted out citing tight scheduldes. The initial schedulde have already been delayed due to the rains. But now the director is looking of some senior artist who can carry the theme of the movie. Actors Ajith and Surya have been also approached for the role. Surya who has already voiced his views on the education issues seems to be the best choice for the role. Hoping that everything turns out good for the crew and cast.

Vijay is not only famous in Tamilnadu but also in Kerala. The actor who was in Kerala for his 'Velayudham' shooting was surprised by his fans. He was recently seen in a huge fan gathering, where he couldnot even step up from his vehicle. The actor was surrounded by a huge crowd that the Police had to step in and ask the actor to leave immediately since his mere prescence could cause a stampede. Hence the fans were disappointed and wanted to make it up for their Star. Hence they now made a statue for the actor which is something special. The statue is very special in the matter that its limbs and head can move and more importantly it can move synchronously with songs from Vijay movies. Nanban

Finally the name of the much awaited remake movie 3 Idiots has been announced. Its titled 'Nanban' in Tamil and '3 Rascals' in Telugu. The star cast has been also decided, Vijay, Srikanth and Jiiva form the cast for the Tamil movie. The shooting of the movie has been schedulded in December. With Vijay completing the shooting of Kaavalan and Velayudham in finishing stages, he is all ready to start the shooting of Nanban.Jayam Raja has been struggling hard to complete all the scenes involving Vijay to free him from the schedulde. People are wondering what Shankar will do for the translation of the Dialouge "ALL IZZZ WELL". Lets hope he does something well. With Kaavalan schedulded to release this December, lets hope this will be start of yet another Vijay domination era with success in all of his releases.

VijayKumar's family feud

Vijaykumar and his family have been in the film industry from the ages of MGR and Sivaji. Now their next generations are also doing films to keep up the family name. VijayKumar has been in the film industry from 1961 and his family consists of his two wives Manujla and MuthuKannu. He has five daughters Vanitha,Sridevi,Preetha,Anitha and Kavitha and one Son Arun Vijay. The latest from the family news is that their daugther Vanitha has filed a complaint with the Chennai Police stating that her father and her family are jealous about their financial improvement and is hindering their development and asked to take against it. But in return VijayKumar and Arun Vijay have filed a compalint stating that Vanitha is fighting for the family property which she is not having access to. The major development came when Vanitha's Husband was arrested, and VijayKumar, ArunVijay were spared. Vanitha even attempted a suicide with a note stating the names of Arun Vijay, VijayKumar and her uncle Director Hari in the list. Since then the family ahs been missing in limelight for any comments. VijayKumar has been spoote in Hyderabad in his daughter's house. He has given a comment stating that Vanitha is not his Daughter and she will know her parents pains when her children grow up.

7am Arivu Latest News

Surya has been quiet for a long time now. We all know that the actor has been constantly making huge strides in the film industry and getting good reviews from the industry for his hard work and dedication. His next big release would be Ratha Charitram which is also getting released in Hindi. Director RGV has been dumb struck by Surya's dedication and also has assured that the movie will be a Hit. The crew has returned back and are shooting a stunt sequence in the Suburbs of Pallavaram. The movie is set to release in April 2011. It has Sruthi Hasan as Surya's pair and Harris Jayaraj composing the music.
