This is the first time the movie is in news for a wrong news. The last person who wants to take name from the movie is the senior editor of Nakeeran 'Amudha Thamizhnadan'. The writer says he penned down this story in an book in the early 1997 and later the story was re-published in the year 2007 in another book with his permission. He has filed a complaint against the crew stating that the director has stole his story and made it into a film with some masala in it. The author also has filed a complaint against the producer of the movie 'Sun Pictures' Kalanithi Maran. The author is also said to have given the proof of his authority over the story. The author along with his advocate has told the press that a criminal case will soon follow pursuit.

So whose story is this? Is the author trying to get some part of the profit and hence filed a case so late after the movie has raked in lots of profit? The author says he saw the movie only a few days back which is tough to believe. There is also another version to the case with the political rivalry aslo stated as a reason. But it cannot be rules out that the author could be correct,stating that Sujatha was the original author.

With Sun direct already ringing in the profit bells,Sun Network has introduced SUN DIRECT HD as a competitor to other DTH serrvices that offer HD service.The Sun Direct HD service currently has three channels namely Sun TV,Colors,Discovery and National Geographic channel.The change in content is that the picture clarity is nearly 5 times better than that of the normal telivision and hence provides a theatre experience with Dolby 5.1 channel surround system.All you need is a HD television,a Sun Direct HD set top box and 5.1 surround speakers that will add up to the viewing experience.All HD televisions will have HDMI connectors that will suit the set top boxes.The technology that is used here is that at the transmitting side the signal is converted to 1's and 0's and at the user side it will be converted back.The Sun Direct HD service comes at a cost of Rs.9999 with additional cost of Rs.1250 for installation.The customers must purchase at least one of the subscription for at least 6 to 12 months to experience the service.The monthly charge for each of the channels will be Rs.100 for each of the channels.

Sun Tv inked a deal with DQE animations for 117 episodes of half hour animated programs with braodcast rights in Tamil,Telugu,Malayalam and Kannadam.These episodes are on 3D TV series Caspers’ Scare School, and three TV series Benjamin Bear, Leonardo and Pet Pals.

The shares of both these organizations rose up after the news about the deals was disclosed. Tapaas Chakra-varti, chairman and chief executive of DQ Entertainment was happy that the deal was successful since SUN Network had huge reach in India as well s in other neighbouring countries like Srilanka and Malasiya.

Sun Network has been the talk of the media industry with nearly 43% profit in this financial year.Though they have a very low price band for their DTH packag(average of Rs.25 to 36) compared to other operators(average of Rs.150 to Rs.200) and their loss in the radiochannel(Rs.20 crore),they have managed to rake huge profits.
