Adugalam is one of the much expected movie this year. Dhanush has been alwyas ready for a second time pairing up with directors with whom he has already tasted success. Dhanush and Vetrimaran have already provided the smashing success in 'Pollathavan'. The duo has paired up once again for this movie which is a picturisation of a real story in MAdurai of late 70's. Dhanush plays a village guy with a one legged rooster which always wins all the rooster competitions. He falls in love with a Anglo-Indian girl Tapasee and their love is captured well.
The movie has its music composed by G.V.Prakash, for whos this movie is a hatrick of success with Madrasapatinam and Pollathavan already being a success. The music is on everyones lips and hence are chartbusters.The story narration of Vetrimaran is always good and this time with the backing of one of the most powerful distribution houses Sun Pictures, he can be rest assured of a success here. Trisha and Nayantara where expected to play the lead but laterthe Delhi newcomer was chosen. She looks cute both on and off the camera.
Expectation meter :::::: 80
Plus :::::: Sun pictures, Dhanush ,G.V.Prakash's music and Vetrimaran's story narration
Drawbacks ::::: To much expectation could spoil the movie.
