Manmadhan Ambu was the most awaited movie for this year and hence a lot of expectation was riding on it. Kamal is playing the ex-military officer who helps Maddy spy on his fiancee Trisha. Maddy plans a industrialist who is planning to marry Thrisha. But some rift between the two regarding Trisha's profession separates them and hence Trisha and her friend Sangeetha (a divorcee) and her two children. Kamal takes up this spying job on their cruise mission to fund his cancer ailing friend played by Ramesh Aravind. The story is very good but the screenplay really lacks some punch. Its too slow and hence things unfold a little slowly. But the mere prescence of Kamal Hasan is enough to make things peppy. Watch the movie to enjoy your year end with family.
