Nandala has been in the making for a very long time. Finally the movie is geared up for release this year with the movie getting released this month. The movie is the third movie for Myskin with the director giving movies once in two years. His previous movies Anjaathey and Chitiram Pesudhadi were released in 2008 and 2006 respectively. This is the first movie Illayaraja is composing music for this year. Myskin is making his acting debut in this movie. He says his role in the movie will be very sentimental and something different, The movie was to be released in 2008 itself but due to various reasons has been delayed for 2 years.

This movie is getting released along with Surya's Ratha Charitram and the Shantanoo's Siddu Plus Two. Both movies had been in the queue for a long time and all these are going to battle it out for the supermacy at the same time.
