Sun Pictures long ago obtained the rights to Dhanush-Tapsi starrer Aadukalam.The film dircted by Vetri Maran is produced by S.Kathiresan.The film which had Trisha in the lead role and then replaced her with Tapasee,an anglo Indian girl after she backed out due to her Bollwood fixtures.The film is based on a real story and is placed in the rural Madurai backdrop with Dhanush playing a local boy.This movie is the second film after the success of the duo in Pollathavan.The film has music by G.V.Prakash Kumar who is the talk of the town after his chartbusters from Madarasapatinam and Ayirathil Oruvan.Sri Lankan Tamil writer V. I. S. Jayabalan is making his acting debut through this film. Comedian Karunaas and Kishore also play  important roles in the movie.

Aadugalam which was earlier stated for release this Aug 27,2010 has been postponed to Nov,27,2010.Hope this Original script will also bring the crew great success like the previous ones.
