Mynaa is one of the most expected movie this diwali. The movie directed by Prabhu Solomon has created huge expectation after the stars who saw the premiere show gave wonderful comments regarding it. The movie is a low budget one with the lead being new faces. The movie is distributed by one of the power houses of tamil cinema 'Red Giant Movies'. The premiere show of the movie was screened few days before the release and all the stars who viewed the movie are sure that the movie is a definite hit.
The movie has Vidarth and Amala Paul in the lead. The story is based in the rural backdrop with both being friends from their childhood. As they grow older they discover the love between them. But the heroine's mother finds this and plans a marriage for her. She also files a case against the hero and makes him gets arrested. But the hero escapes from the prison and also helps the girl get out of the marriage. The two elope together and gets chased by two constables. The couple gets into the jungles and find it hard to survive. Even the constables find the same problem with one of them wanting to get back to his home for his 'Thala Diwali'. The movie gets very racy when the couple gets into the jungle. Some of the notable scenes would be the elephant chase and all the jungle scenes.
Prabhu Solomon has always been known as the good technician and has proved it in this movie also. His entire career has been a roller coaster ride and hence he has not face that much success. Hope he succeeds in this movie.
