Vishal is back with another action entertainer, directed by Prabhu Deva and produced by his brother’s GK film corporation is sited as the comeback for Vishal after his not so good run in the recent years. Vishal’s Avan Ivan with Arya was a hit, but Vishal who is portrayed as a Mass Action hero badly needs a hit in this genre. The movie has Sameera Reddy and Vivek sharing the screen space. The film distributed by Sun Pictures is a pure Commercial entertainer.
The movie has music by Vijay Antony and is the remake of the telugu hit ‘Souryam’. The movie had a average release in both TamilNadu and Kerala with more than 200 screens.
