After the run away success of 'Kalavani' Director Sargunam is back with another village oriented drama with Vimal in the lead. The movie is set in the back drops of 1960 where Veluthambi (Vimal) is forced to work as a teacher in a village for 6 months to get himself a government job. But as time flies by, he brings a lots of change to the village and hence is made to reconsider if he wants to leave this village. The actor has lived the character with the heroine also showing some talent. The director and the art director have really brought to our eyes the Tamil Nadu of 1960's. The movie is also well supported by its music by new comer Ghibran. For all those who are expecting another Kalavani, don't get disappointed. But the movie is a must watch for all those city dwellers who needs a dose of village life in the earlier times.
